Fredericksburg CARES is a citizen initiated interest group formed in 2007. CARES stands for: Community, Awareness, Regarding Environmental Solutions. It's really that simple. We believe that through improved awareness and involvement by the community, we can continue to build Fredericksburg into a fantastic place for all to enjoy; residents, businesses and visitors alike. This is especially relevant when it comes to the environment. We owe it to all that have come before us and all that will come hereafter to set a clear vision for our future. Let's build on the foundation that was started 17 years ago with the founding of our Recycling Center. Together we can....REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.
