Knopp Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a licensed facility providing skilled nursing care, along with physical, speech, and occupational therapy services. This 132-bed home may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, VA Contract, insurance, or private pay, and hospice services are available. This home offers private and semi-private rooms with a licensed nursing staff on duty 24 hours a day, and an emergency call system in each room and bathroom. Three nutritious meals are served daily supervised by a dietician, and special diets are available. Housekeeping and laundry services are included along with transportation to local medical appointments. Daily social and recreational activities are scheduled including exercise, bingo, music and pet therapy, live music entertainment, and cookouts in our large patio space. Beauty and barber shop services are available on site. Local ministries conduct service, bible study, and hymn-along weekly. All Knopp Healthcare facilities are family owned and operated. Knopp Retirement Home emphasizes independence in a minimum care setting offering the highest level of personal care when necessary. Our 60-bed facility offers private rooms with private bathrooms and large walk-in closets. A variety of floor plans are available in both single and double occupancy options. Respite stays are also available. Each room has an emergency call system to the central nurses’ station. Staff is on duty 24-hours a day to assist with medications, bathing, and dressing when necessary. We provide three chef prepared meals daily, along with coffee, juice, and snacks throughout the day. Daily social and recreational activities are scheduled including exercise, music and pet therapy, bingo, birthday celebrations, happy hour, coffee socials, and planned outings, We have a beautician visit twice weekly, a barber once a month, and a manicurist twice monthly. Local ministries visit weekly and conduct worship, bible study, and hymn-along. Multiple outdoor sitting areas along with sitting rooms on each hall are accessible at all times for resident and family enjoyment. Housekeeping is included and laundry facilities are available on each hall, or if you prefer a laundry service is available. Scheduled local transportation and a covered carport are available. Knopp Assisted Living provides assisted living in a secure and moderate care setting. Our 60-bed facility offers alarms on all exit doors for resident safety, and a large outdoor recreational space for our residents and their families’ enjoyment. Emergency call systems are in all of our rooms where a 24-hour staff is available to assist with medications, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living. Three nutritious meals are served daily along with snacks, coffee, and tea throughout the day. Daily social and recreational activities, and planned outings and shopping trips are regularly scheduled. Volunteer and local musicians provide frequent live music performances, and local ministries conduct weekly worship, bible study, and hymn-along. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided. Scheduled transportation is available along with beauty and barber shop services. All Knopp Healthcare facilities are family owned and operated.
