Messina Hof announces their expansion with a new 10 acre resort being built in Gillespie County. The new resort will mirror the 33-year old namesake in Bryan, Texas, while incorporating a Hill Country feel. Like the original, the resort will have a vineyard for grape growing as well as feature a bed and breakfast, wine bar, retail shop and conference facilities. The Bonarrigos, ever conscious of their impact on the Texas environment, have included sustainable and energy efficient designs in their plans. The new resort will utilize solar energy, sustainable agri-practices, and will use water collected from the roof to water the landscape. “The new location combines 33 years of wine making and hospitality experience with the most award-winning wines.
